I have a ten year old dictionary, and "bad", hair", and, yes, "day" are all in there.
Or do dictionaries now include phrases. Are we so lazy that we can't form our own sentences now?

Although, to me, it sounds nothing like a grunt. It's more like a mild exclamation, as in "Shit!".
