Although crude-looking, that guy's site is kinda interesting. Every once in a blue moon, I will find myself purchasing some videogame system clone at one of those kiosks in the mall, play them for about a week, and then shove them in a box in my closet, never to be seen again.

But as regards the topic: Why on Earth does the packaging have racecars, motorcycles, football players and two stupid-looking kids when the box is labeled "Star Trek" ???

I like how the last box has a question mark next to Star Trek as if too say, "Star Trek? Huh? What?"

I think the knock-off console is called "Star Trek". Why not? Star Trek is kinda popular, and the knock off video game industry is rather large, as illistrated by many of the videos here .
