Meanwhile crack dealers are relaesed with time served.
But it could be a lot worse for this sap: Florida has the "Ten-Twenty-Life" law for gun crimes. Ten for having the gun, Twenty if it's fired and Life for killing someone.
Sure encourages criminals to shoot their way out of a police confrontation though.

I love the American legal system. As long as you're a rich celeb, you can get away with driving while high on cocaine. But a regular guy, a hot dog will send you to jail.
