On Sunday, October 21st 1979:

President Jimmy Carter attended church services at Hickory Lodge at Camp David. He then went fishing and, after making a phone call, watched the movie "The Onion Field."

Osama bin Laden was a 22 year old graduate of King Abdul Aziz University in Jiddah with a degree in civil engineering, prior to the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.

Alfred Nobel would have been 146 years old.

The Billboard #1 Single, topping American Top 40 was 'Rise' by Herb Alpert.

Dizzy Gillespie celebrated his 62nd brithday.

The U.S.S. Constitution was 180 years old.

What's amusing about the Roller Girl is that the young boy holding her left hand is staring at her breasts while smiling wickedly. He started on the path to manhood that day.
