All I know is that I find the Snickers commercial with the animated mascots funny.

Oh, and Gore's daughters are hot.

Vote Communist. Or if not, Gore. His daughters are hot.

"I invented pants."

Just a general comment...I'm usually the first person to correct this sort of thing, but people here spend more time criticising Omega's grammar/spelling errors than addressing his ideas...

It's kinda the same mentality that leads people to criticize Bush, ain't it, Frank?

And yes, I know that that's posessive. It's called a typo.

It should be "isn't it Frank".

Actually Jeff, that was extrememly picky. It's one thing to get annoyed at him spelling Britain as "Brittain", but the use of the possesive apostraphe? It's a really easy mistake to make. And like there/their, and to/too, it's something that took me ages to get.

Hey, so I'm bad at English. Sue me. But I've got the moral victory. Oh yes.

I'll correct sumone, but only when it's amusing. Like when somwone mispells the same word numerous times in the same paragraph. Especially when someon like that mispells it each time differently.

"My dad and I wear the same pants."

That's why people should vote Nader.

Anyway, a friend told me that the original quote was from a campaign person for Gore who said he was one of the first people who supported/instigated the Internet. Then that guy was misquoted saying that Gore invented the Internet. I just think this is one of the most ridiculous things people can argue over. Of course, a lot political arguments around here are childish to begin with.

I've yet to see anyone correct Omega's spelling of the word "prove"

Omega, I'm sorry for being a nitpicker.

I started to correct the "proove" thing, but opted for inventing the internet myself, then I thought, well, hell, I do enough typos, goofed up spelling, and screwed up grammer myself, so I guess I shouldn't pitch stones.

Actually, Gore said "I took the initiative in creating the internet." on a TV broadcast on one of the talk shows/ news programs he was on, I forget which. Possibly "Oprah."

All I've actually seen is the clip of him, saying those exact words, so I can't be sure of this, but I've been told that he realized afterward that that didn't sound right and wasn't what he meant. But, like I said, I don't know if that's true or not.

I saw the "Snickers" thing last night, for the first time, and LMAO. Funniest thing I've seen on TV in ages.

I've seen it quite a few times. I think it's on during Xena and Andromeda.
