More scary changes under the covers, still no new features...

Once again, if you see anything nutty, please advise...

You certainly do a lot of stuff under the covers. As I'm sure Jubes can concur on.

I'm slightly annoyed at Hobbes' rather rude decision to be much more attractive than me though. That's just rude. - PsyLiam, Oct 27, 2005.

Oooh! I found a bug! Well, maybe just a problem. I just tried to look at someone's profile, and I got a bunch of gibberish. At the top of the page is written:

Fri Jul 6 20:03:29 2001] ultimatebb.cgi: Scalar found where operator expected at /big/dom/xsolareclipse/www/flare/cgi2/ubb_profile.cgi line 36, at end of line [Fri Jul 6 20:03:29 2001] ultimatebb.cgi: (Missing operator before... (editted the rest out, you get the idea)

And in the profile part of the profile of the profile page, it says an error has occurred followed by some long address and then the message to inform the administration.

Just letting someone know about two possible glitches!?! They were occuring before any 'new version' - like in the last couple of days...

1. It just happened to me then. It does take a bit longer to load using Netscape - fine, but most of the time, when you click on the reply button, you start to get the 'reply screen' loading up - but then it just says 'Document: Done' when all it has done is load the background... there is no reply box or graphics etc. You have to press reload - or someimes shift+reload to get it to appear.

2. After you have replied, you get taken back to the thread you were reading, but you don't go back to the top of the page, but the VERY bottom of the page - like where that new box is, with the details, of what files were accessed, and unlocked and locked. etc.

Just, letting you know the 'when I click the reply button' problem happened again just before.

And the problem of returning after posting a message and the page appearing at the bottom... where the

quote:
Init to end: 0 wallclock secs (0.14 usr + 0.03 sys = 0.17 CPU)
7 files were locked.
6 files were OpenFileAs*ed.
1 files were written.

thingy is also happened again.

Charles,

Found another bug.

In the "Interests" and "Notes" parts of the member profiles, it is only allowing two lines of viewing. Some members' sentences are getting cut off.

Can we alter it's behavior somehow?
