I saw Relics and Scotty was treated very badly and with utter Contempt by the TNG crew who are supposed to be morally and ethically Superior and Advanced.
Their attitude was racist,sexist and ageist... They were,very impatient and treated him like shit. Laforge who is black treated Scotty like a old doddering fool in the way of His Very Urgent Work and forgot his black roots... and wished he was dead and Picard who was very Stiff with something up his ass was patronizing.
Data was condescending and the the crewman in the guest quarters with no name was needed so badly in his Duties he could not spare a minute. The computer ignored him... Riker was dismissive and left after just 40 seconds.
The rest of the passing crewman ignored him...and seemed totally lost in their very mundane duties. They all lacked warmth or hospitality or laughter. He was a persona non grata... Dr crusher acted like his mother to a naughty child... He was shown zero respect and they could not wait to get rid of him.
He was treated universally like shit. No respect at all. Do you agree? I want a intelligent debate with underlying psychological reasoning in the discussion.
Would you like to be treated like a leper? Their whole attitude was of restrained impatience and "we cant wait to to get rid of you,you old fool who has passed his usefulness you who are about to crumble to dust you relic Scotty..."
I was disgusted and shocked how people are treated by the TNG crew.
