Am I the only one who thinks that the nacelles look kind of goofy that far from the body of the ship?

I must admit, the nacelles do look a little out of place in these diargrams, but the Cousteau looks better when the nacelles are in flight configuration.

Yes, Star Trek: The Magazine (and not just Patrick Stewart) said it, so I consider it "official" but non-canonical now.
