I just love turning the Defiant upside down and inside out. Anyway, I've been trying to work out where the bridge may actually be located under the external surface. Here's one possibility I came up with - Defiant Bridge Locale.
This is a damn fine fit IMHO. The length? At a ships length of 110m the bridge is 11.6m long (same as the Ent-nil bridge diameter). I can't help but think that the Defiant bridge set is still shorter though.
So what do you think?

I don't understand your question, Andrew. Like I wrote, I used a total ship length of 110m. I then placed a 11.6m long bridge over it. Well, they were the relative sizes anyway.

Personally, I think the Deffie is somewhere in the 110-120m range. If she was really 70m, then the decks would have to be 2.7m, tops, including jefferies tubes and anything else between decks. The corridors are easily two meters, and .7m is not enough space to crawl in in a Jefferies tube, much less have a reasonable space between the Jefferies tubes and the corridors, so since Frank's 120m is the only other reasonable length presented, I'm going with that and saying 110-120m.

I agree that 110-120m is the ship length. But the position and size of the bridge is what I'm questioning here.

No objection to this comparison. Have you tried the same with the deck plans from the DS9TM? I think the bridge depicted there works well at some 120m too.

The "Starboard Elevation Interior" has a 12m long bridge at 110m OL - very close to my own extrapolation.
The "Deck 1 (dorsal) General Plan" has a 14.5m long bridge at 110m OL. This figure is a bit out there IMO. The position of the bridge is different here too. It's stupid that the two plans from the same book are contradictory.
I'll have to go and scan the deck 1 dorsal image and see how my placement fits...
