Hi, I was looking through my DS9 trading cards (season 1) (I loved collecting them).

I scanned in two 'schematics' (these are of the doubles - I haven't fished out the folder with the whole set in it yet - but I think the other schematic was of a Galor Class Warship).

anyway here are two that were there that I don't think are featured anywhere else - and it might help out some people! Put my name under the pics - or what ever you do to credit who scanned them! [Smile]

The first is of the Bajoran Sub-impulse fighter (funny they included this cause it's from the second season!)

The second is the Saratoga escape-pod.

If you want clearer scans - tell me - and I'll see what I can do. Remember these are from trading cards like 5cm long.

For any modelers out there trying to build the Saratoga pod, the aft blocky thing (with the rear bent window)is a piece that's found on the model of Chakotay's Maquis Ship. [One of the rectangular blocks on the upper mid hull surface with the ribbed vent details.]

Do you want me to scan in the artist's impression from the other side of the cards?

Oh, they are oblique views.

Uh, how is this possible? The model for Chakotay's raider didn't come out until several years after "Emissary."

I'm not saying in the Trek world, it's the same thing. I'm saying from a modeling standpoint, the spare kit piece used on the Saratoga Pod filming miniature is the same spare kit piece also used in two places on the Maquis Raider filming miniature.

The Maquis ship actually had many recognizable kit pieces on it:

-pieces also used on Saratoga Pod aft section
-back thruster from a Robotech battloid model
-Upper detail piece from the Vor'Cha filming miniature
-aft cap from the Galor Class filming miniature
-forward Torpedo launcher from small Relaint miniature
-Forward torpedo pieces from the Vor'Cha filming miniature
-Spare piece from the Klingon Translator prop in Trek VI

etc.

and i wonder why the ship came out so unattractive. with all those high-quality homages, this ship should have been the r0><0rz
