I remember seeing in the episode "Descent, Part II" a schematic of Hugh's ship. I thought I saw a class designation for this ship. Can we prove this, and get a screencap to boot? [Smile]

(I know this repeats part of my earlier thread. I decided this portion of that thread was the more relevant. I hope this clears any confusion. Thanks.)

Hugh didn't have a ship in "Descent". Do you mean the renegade Borg vessel from "Descent" or Hugh's ship from "I, Hugh"?

The renegade ship did never get a name, and I suppose it wasn't even a Borg ship, but we saw a schematic of this vessel on a screen in VOY's "Scorpion". They wanted to use this ship as a large-scale nanoprobe mine to destroy an entier Species 8472-system.

I can't remember seeing anything about the small scout vessel used in "I, Hugh" besides the wrecked parts on the planet. IIRC there has been a trading card or promo card with a photo of a new Borg ship (either CG or physical model, can't remember) and I think it said that this was the ship we "saw" in that episode.

I am referring to the renegade Borg ship in "Descent, Part 2". In the episode, there was an okudagram accessed by Beverly Crusher and her bridge crew.

"I, Borg".

And Hugh wasn't (as far as we know) on the ship in "Descent".

Descent was possibly the very worst episode of TNG ever IMHO.
Even worse than "The Child" and that's really making a big statement.

...another horrid episode.
What was the one with the USS Britain?
That one both sucked and blew at the same time(something thought physically impossible prior to that episode).
I hate Descent for the "We're facing the Federation's greatest possible threat ever and we'll send the entire bridge crew down to be assimilated while the FUCKING DOCTOR and a bunch of INEXPERIENCED officers are left to defend the ship from an unknown Borg ship that can travel faster than warp and could pop up with zero warning.
The worst thought out storyline possible.

IMO all TNG Two-Parters suck.

??

And: "What was the one with the USS Britain?"

There wasn't.

And: The "DOCTOR" managed to blow up a Borg ship without getting her ship sliced out from under her, or her eye poked with a drill.

I meant "Brattain" but I suspect you knew that.
I just feel that Descent was very poorly written and contrived. Riker didint even peep about the captain and the whole damn ship beaming down!
....and it's true: all the TNG two parters reallt suck with the one exception of BOBW and even then, Shelby had a complete personality transplant for the second part.
In part one she's as hatable as Remmick. [Wink]

I quite like Redemption. Although the second part is almost completely different from the first.

Gambit was fun, too.

Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

Quite right PsyLiam.

I never heard anyone slagging off "Best Of Both Worlds" when it was aired. Did I? No. So they weren't all bad.

"Night Terrors" was a good episode.
The good doctor Crusher all by herself in the cargo bay and all those corpses under white sheets, suddenly sitting up.

BOO!

...and therein lies the problem.
Uausally the first episode has a lot of promise, but the second part really sucks.

Yes, but, this is like informing people that the odd numbered Star Trek films aren't as good as the even numbered ones.
