I uncovered a backup of my system from late 1999, and found this delightful chunk of files:

Probably no good for anything but pure nostalgia, but still at least worth something.

None of the pictures load because they're not included in the download! [Razz] Didn't you see the part where Charles said "circa Feb 1998"?

I'm pretty sure that I visited UP1 a couple of times, but that was in the very early days of my exploration of the WWW � I was usually sticking to the CompuServe discussion boards and downloads. I remember more from UP2, though. (And I'm pretty sure I found Bernd's site through UP2...)

It's funny to go back and read some of this stuff, though... like in the Wolf 359 page, where someone argues that the Federation fleet numbered about 70 ships total!

I remember UPI and the big change over to UPII, but UPIII never game. [Frown]
