So, did anyone ever figure out how long the Defiant and Akira really are?

One standard Frank, as always.

I hauled that joke out at someone on IM yesterday.

I guess if I've become a punchline I should be proud. [Smile]

Did I ever reveal the secret scene where the Defiant is 170m?

Dude, where the hell have you been for the past several years? And, no I'm not talking about the length of the Defiant...

At least I at least post more than Frank does.

Sometimes.

The scary part is, I have posted more than once a day, every day, for the past 8 years, according to my post average.

I'm going to have to step in at this point, and put a stop to this line of questioning. You see, persisted enquiries as to Frank's whereabouts and activites in recent years will undoubtedly end in revelations that he's been off out and about, enjoying and indulging in his new-found hunkiness, and for those of us who're used to, and indeed comfortable with, the old toad-like Frank, it'll be just too much to stomach. Especially if, like me, you've just gotten over a tummy bug and are only now beginning to come to terms with the idea of normal and continued digestion of recently-consumed meals. Oh, if only I had one of those MiB flashy-things, I could nip this in the bud right now. As it is, I suspect I'm too late.

All that, AND the scene where the Defiant is flying side by side with two Mirandas. The Miranda saucer is 170 meters long/wide. The Deifant was the length of that saucer in that shot. QED.

Uh, isn't that saucer more like 140 meters?

...Nicely halfway between.

Yep. Also, the Miranda's main hull is longer than it is wide. (Don't forget the big cargo/engineering section!)

Start from the centre of the saucer, draw a line to the very front. Sweep that line through 360 and there's your saucer boundaries. Simple.

Or turn it upside-down & look at the rim. See?
