Do you like this, maybe some of you fantastic artists here, could do a nice version I'll do some other views first.

Its a post Defiant Scout
120 - 140 m long.
more rounded mission profile than Defiant Class, replaces aging Mirandas and Oberths.

Hm... Defiant bridge... Intrepid nacelles... Danube pylons for the body... Am I right?

But what are the pylons from...?

The pylons look like reversed Intrepid pylons to me.

OK heh heh
its a mish mash of other ship parts - but thats cause i used them to get an overall design - i.e. the shape of the thing - i'll have to go and do it again on some paper - or maybe - those of you who know what they think'd be good - interpret it as you will

the pylons - reversed intrepid nacelle pylons...

its just for effect - really

Andrew

PS do you like?

OK its basically a flat hull - with BOP style (i.e. pointing down) nacelles.

The nacelles, move too, variable warp geometery and all...

I reckon it could land - since its only over 100m long, it'd find some space, if it needed to land -

but I guess, the main body would be flat -

and the deflector dish is either like a Sydney class transport - in the front, or maybe underneath as per a Sabre class - coming down from the aft section...

prollay secondary defelector dish is at the front...

This ship also, can hold its own - it is post-defiant...

The pieces coming off the bow of the ship almost make it look Jemmie in origin.

In order to judge it, it would have to be refined a bit. Is the "tongs" supposed to hold a weapon or sensor module?

Mandibles (or "tongs" as you call them) should exist only to look good.

Frank: ?!?

And all cars should have nonfunctional features like tailfins or spoilers that do nothing useful except look good.

And I'm the Easter Bunny. This year we're doing something different. Leave loose cash on the front steps or there will be no Easter candy. Sorry! Operating costs have gone waaaay up this year.

You are correct!

Actually, on cargo ships, I suppose you could use mandibles to load/carry cargo, like on the Millenium Falcon...

So it's "mandibles". Anyway, I can't help they actually look like Easter Bunny ears.
