"U.S.S. Scottsdale leads a battle group following a Cardie ambush"

This was a gift to my brother last Christmas, it's one of the nicest ships made for Bridge Commander and we use it often. I finally got around to adding in the ringed planet he requested, and made a fresh scan.

I'm actually disappointed with how the scans come out, it really is rather vibrant when seen in person.

I shrunk the image because it was huge. Or is there another difference?

Why does the Himalaya look like it has a saggy bum?

Very cool ship.
A question though: I'm looking at the revised version (a vast improvment) and am wondering what the orange thing at the front of the "C" deck is supposed to represent?

Some sort of aux-deflector?
