While spring cleaning I came upon my "Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" folder. I really liked this game, not least for its very flexible character creation feature.

Here's how building faces works;
The "Chin"-submenu.

Trying to create a face from a real-life one can be excruciating, but when you hit upon a really familiar detail (a raised eyebrow, fatter eyes or just one inch lowered on the cheekbones), when you get it just right it feels special.

Here is a mage. My mage. I call him P.
(the right side of the images are from the game)

Travelling under cloak

Shock spells.

Dignity and composure

Funny story, humans can't choose any other eyecolor than blue, brown or green in the char creation, but I happened to get infected with "porphyric hemophilia" by a vampire while I was spelunking once. The result speaks for itself.

The final step

Unn-limited pauwah.

Excellent likeness. I played that game for about 20 minutes once, for some console...I think I had some kind of blue catlike creature for a character...

Your sig - what sense of curabitur are you using? Curare is a versatile verb, verily.

Oh I use the factory standard, for insurance purposes. No bootleg verbs here.

Now, regarding further characters, I like to vary myself as much as the next man, so I also made something from the melee side. The build was harder to get just right but even more giving.

No, making it smaller contorts the cheeks and cheekbones. Also, it needs to be in balance with the other features, this is just one angle.

This capture was hard to make.
