A good episode.

I have to admit, I saw the episode's villain being the Great Intelligence a mile away, but didn't trust my own instincts because I couldn't imagine it being the same bad guy from the previous episode. Sure enough, though, it's the Great Intelligence again. Well played, Moffat, well played.

One mystery as-of-yet unsolved... Who gave Clara the Doctor's number?

Take your pick! In 2013 London posing as a "girl in a shop" you could have Martha Jones (deliberately), Donna Noble (indeliberately), or even River Song (again, deliberately). Hell, even Gwen Cooper.

Or he just might not be ex-directory.

I have plenty of experience in biology. I bought a Tamagotchi in 1998... And... it's still alive.
