Hi Guys
I have heard a rumor that George Lucas has signed off on doing Star Wars on the small screen of some sort. I was just wondering if anybody knows what he is planing?

This is old news.

Last I heard, Lucas had signed off on two one-hour drama television series based on Star Wars to premiere at the earliest in 2006.

I believe we just discussed this here recently. Supposedly, there's a live-action show (I seem to recall the name being "Tyderium" or some such) and a cartoon (not unlike "Clone Wars").

500 (or more) years before Anakin or 100 or more after Luke and it MIGHT be bearable - oh and keep George away. [Smile]

Seriously though - if it could be made just a bit more cerebral than the movies. If you're going to be seeing so much more of the characters then we'd really need a reason to care.
