The USS Enterprise CVN-65 is retired, but will be replaced with the USS Enterprise CVN-80.

It's such a shame that the naming of the carriers has been so politicized... instead of great names like Yorktown, Constellation, or Intrepid, we get the names of stuffy administrators and politicians who used to be in the military.
