not the movie, but it release date - here in Australia its JUNE 3 - about a month after it gets released in the states, - Insurrection too - about 3 weeks after the states, and Generations was about a month and a half - but FC was the day before the States - haa haa, but it was only shown in Sydney - Clin-ton was visiting - and went and saw it...

The rumour is that they stuffed up the spelling of Roddenberry! - so they had to recall all the film...

On a related Episode 1 note, what in the world is wrong with Lucasfilm? Supposedly they're limiting theatres to only 3 prints of the film - no more. All so the media can give the film free publicity by showing pictures of suffering fans waiting on impossibly long lines. And on top of that, no advance ticket sales! So, if you've been waiting in line all day and they run out of tickets, you're out of luck. You have to go back the next day and do it all over again. Quite frankly, I don't expect to see the film until mid-July. I'll be damned if I'm going to waste my time like that.

Oh, and on top of that, ticket prices here in New York City have just gone up to $9:50! Insane. Sony Theatres can go to hell for that. The worse part is none of my local theatres offer discount rates for any showings. It's the same price any time of the day. Ridiculous.
