Mister The Plumber did an appearance at the bookstore I work at last night. The Washington Post did an article on his appearance.

Would everyone just please stop encouraging him?

Posted by Malnurtured Snay (Member # 411) on :

Dude, a dozen people showed up and he sold 5 books. I wouldn't call that "encouraging".

Oh puh-loize, enough with the modesty. You're even plugged into a live police scanner right there, why? Is the local vietnamese gang muscling in on the Baltimore bookstore racket?

Posted by HerbShrump (Member # 1230) on :

He's back from Iraq? Or was it Afghanistan?

Nim: Actually, I left Baltimore. I live in Washington, DC now (by the Zoo). That store is about four blocks from The White House.

The store is big enough the only way to keep in contact with the staff is via those radios.

Herb: I think he was over in Israel for awhile. But, yes, he's back. (Clearly).

So is your plumbing fixed now? Or did he only came in for the global economy?

Guy kind of looks like my cousin, only balder...

Joe or Snay? [Smile]

What the fuck did you do to your head?

Posted by Fabrux (Member # 71) on :

He's going all baldy-amish on us. Don't you read his blog? [Razz]

Posted by Malnurtured Snay (Member # 411) on :

Shik: I've been losing hair for awhile, so I decided to just go bald on my own terms.

I did that last summer, I was starting to look like a friar so I took it all off. It's kind of a relief eh? Although the sunburn sucks, oh and the -40 with windchill days are brutal if you're stuck without a hat.

I bought a nice warm hat just for my poor cranium [Smile]

I thought for a minute you'd met Stone Cold Steve Austin, who hopefully might have attacked you with a razor.

The truth disappoints, as always.

For those of us not from the DC area or thereabouts...

1. Who is 'The Plumber'?
2. Which one is 'The Plumber'?
3. Why?

*delete*

Snay, Norelco makes a great beard trimmer for like $20.
Buy one today.

Also, you should have gotten that plumber bozo to tell you what a creep McCain is or some juicy tidbit- then youcould write a book no one wants to read and sit in the writer's chair hoping someone buys your book...

or not.

Actually, he's shaved off the beard, and now looks like a Conehead.

Thrust, Dirge or Ramjet?

Axeman --

1. His real name is Samuel Wurzenbacher. He's not a plumber.
2. The one on the right.
3. Did you pay attention to the US presidential elections this past year? Mr. The Plumber was the hilarity.

OMG LIAM!!!!!!!!!

Got beaten in the playoffs, hm?

Er? Are there other uses of the term "Conehead" which a knowledge of 1970's SNL sketches and a rudimentary search on Wikipedia has left me unawares?

Is it a cunning hat?

"Are there other uses of the term 'Conehead'...?"

It's a Transformers reference. There were three Decepticons who turned into jets, and their heads in robot mode retained the shape of the plane's nose.

This is Flare- you should not need to explain geekyness.

Posted by TSN (Member # 31) on :

Yeah, but Lee is too old to get a Transformers reference. Weren't you ever taught to help the elderly?
