Since I asked nearly all the questions in the last contest, and I just did the one before that, I'll take a break from these after this one, or at least limit myself to one or two questions per contest. Also, if nobody gets this (which is possible, but unlikely), TSN gets the next contest.

So it's larger than a human, smaller than Earth, and not controlled by Fed. I'd guess some sort of alien ship or installation. Or maybe a large life form. Or a small planet. OK, so it's not as narrow a field as I thought.

Is it at least partly artificial?

Well, according to his name "Person Man" is a person. That was the intent of my question, which I've told you. Are you saying that you're assuming Person Man could be anything that can fit in a garbage can? That could be pretty small.

The Salt Vampire appeared as a statue in "The Squire of Gothos". As I recall, it's what Trelane vaporized while examining a phaser.
