Yeah - it's Cavit - although the Voyager trading card I've got here calls him Lt. Cmdr. Cabot.
Once you had Voyager and that he was Lt. Cmdr... and appeared in only one episode...
I wish we at least found out the names of the original CMO and CEO.

We have a fairly imprecise tool for figuring it.. in "Imperfection" there was a Voyager casualty list displayed on a computer screen.. of the names listed, only three were above the rank of lieutenant..
Cmdr. J. Bartlett Lt. Cmdr. L. McLaren Lt. Cmdr. T. Zielen
the doctor had Lt. Cmdr. pips, it might be possible to theorize his name was either McLaren or Zielen, if its not some other name that wasnt on the list.
of course, the list doesnt seem complete, because i didnt see Cavit's name on there. But Voyager couldnt have had too many commanders, i would theorize one of those Lt. Cmdrs was the doctor, and possibly that the commander was the chief engineer.

Don't be dense. If Cabot is still around, he's not a casualty. The Commander is most likely the dead XO, and the Lt. Cmdr.s are probably the CMO and Chief Engineer.

I reckon it would be less 'uneasy' with the CMO being a full commander but - he had the Lt Commander pips didn't you say?
And was Chuckles (Voyager's not Flare's) was he a Lt. Commander or a full Commander before leaving for the Maquis? He was a Lt. Commander on Voyager. (I'm pretty sure - those Maquis rank insignia are hard to make-out)

And until that casualty list came out, I was heppily deluding myself that the CMO was a rehabilitated Roga Danar, in Starfleet after Angosia was admitted to the Federation. *heh*

This is starting to drift from the beacon of on-topic-ness, but did Dr. Crusher start out as a full Commander? Cuz I know when Riker was serving as the XO of the Hood, he was a Lt. Cmdr. His transfer to the Enterprise included a promotion to Commander. I know he and Crusher would then only still have the same rank, but Crusher would have seniority.
