Houston, we have a problem.

Those ads which were previously on the bottom of the screen are now draped in front of the Flare Logo. What happened here?

It's commercial Darwinism at work.

The links have adapted so well to the forums' environment that they have developed a limited form of self-awareness. This enabled them to realize that people might see them better near the top of the page. A few nanoseconds' worth of evolution and voila! They've migrated to the top of the page.

Sure, they block other links that were here first, but evolution is a savage business.
