Subject says it all. For better or for worse, it sounds like Berman intends to be at the helm when the next series gets off the ground. We can all argue about whether or not he has been good for Trek (despite some missteps, I do think he has been good for the franchise), but isn't it time for some new creative blood, someone with a different vision for Trek? Think about it - there have been more hours of Trek under Berman's creative control than Gene Roddenberry had in his entire life. Of course, if Berman leaves, just who should be the person entrusted with the show's future?

Just some idle rambling.

Braga's good, although I wouldn't trust him with creating a new series.

*Cough* Seriously though, Ira Behr would be a good candidate.

Braga with Behr, Wolfe, and Moore would be good!

I like Braga. He has no sense of science, but I really like his direction for Voyager and his... original... ideas.

Mind you, I'd want Moore in total charge of things, but it will never happen.

5th season Voyager is damn good stuff. Braga has redeemed himself, believe you me. Makes you almost forget the salamanders.

Oh, and about Berman.

Frankly he hasn't really damaged the franchise. It was under his sole leadership that TNG reached its pinnacle, though he did not create that series. Jeri Taylor should stay on the periphery but don't let her create the next series, or else we'll get another Kirk with breasts. I'd really love Moore to get back together on the same staff as Braga. Bring ol' Wolfe back, too. ISB... well, maybe not as sole Executive Producer, but worth having around.

I liked the way Voyager started this season, but the last few eps. have sucked air.
