It's been *way* too long since we've had any fresh info, but Doug Drexler just posted some new info in his blog about one of the DS9 kitbashes: http://drexfiles.wordpress.com/2009/01/21/uss-jupp-deep-space-deep-background/ It's the Constitution kitbash with the two nacelles tacked onto either side of the torpedo bay. I don't think any of us were able to find any footage of it in the show, though. Apparently it's labeled "USS Jupp". Any ideas as to what that refers to?

It would have been nice if you posted this in the Doug Drexler blog thread I already started. Not like you had to, but as I said, it would have been nice. :-)
Anyway, I asked him about the origin of the name.
