i was re-reading a comic called "roodbaard" it's about a pirate called "roodbaard" and it around the 17-18th century with a lot a boot's and then it struck me space ship --> sea ship

Hey, it's different and original. *applauds* Is it a body shell or are those solar sails? (Well, they could be, couldn't they? Oh and, what program did you draw this in?
(Roodbaard, my dear English speaking chums, means Redbeard, since rood=red and baard=beard. Roodbaard de onverschrokken piraat, die over de wereldzee�n vaart om medogenloos zijn werk te doen als piraat..)

I will correct you Altair..... I never said that those "sails" are solar sails. As a matter of fact I do not have a propulsion system for this ship. I'm still thinking about one.
One thing is for sure, there will be some sort of tentakels that come out of the "sails". They generate an energy field of some sort.
At least that's my idea.

BTW: It IS a starfleet vessel. So if someone misunderstood me........
RW: I used illustrator 8 voor the lining and i kan use the lines for import in 3dmax *grin*
