I was goofing around with a pencil technique last night and came up with this handsome devil.

You could create a whole crew - comic-book style... if it didn't take too long!
Maybe we could flesh-out the characters here - and you could draw them - just singular pics would do - like that Bolian fellow.

Thanks Andrew. And that is a really good idea. In fact, I had done a set of crew members for someone over at TrekBBS (I was feeling generous and since they were only pencil drawings, I could do them at work...)
If the Vulcan looks suspiciously familiar...it's because it's me with a funky haircut. The ears are real though.
I sent these to him, but never heard back... I'm not all that surprised, but whatever.

So you can do some characters we choose?? And we could do back-stories to them etc.
We could mush-out what characters we wanna see? (Personally I'd like to see one or two obscure aliens - like from The Voyage Home etc. cause your pictures give them a personality, instead of just sitting there in the chambers!

The top right character was supposed to be a Vulcan officer who wasn't a member of Starfleet. Keep in mind, these are someone else's characters, I just did the pics, so I don't know too much about it. He didn't have a uniform made up, so I made one up that didn't have a wrap around feature so as to distinguish it from the wrap-aroundishness of the SF unis.

Great Scott! Alan actually looks quite normal (for someone who comes here) and might even be considered good-looking. I think he needs to get out more, chase girls and that sort of thing.

First: I'd love to do some stuff like that. Sadly, I'm simply out of time right now. I've got so much freelance stuff I have to get to after hours, I can't take on too much fun stuff. You find me 5 extra hours a day, and I'll work on the crew portraits
