I must say, I just purchased the soundtrack, and have listened to it over and over again. Plus, I've seen "Duel of the Fates" on MTV 4 times! It ROCKS!

Three cheers to John Williams!!!

Garak: Interesting. You saved the day by destroying the world.
Bashir: I bet they didn't teach you that in the Obsidian Order.

I usually sit after the movie is over, and listen to the soundtrack. I got bored and left in about 20 seconds. For me, Anikan's theme stuck out the most. I've heard the rest of it on Public Radio. Well, I'm not very impressed. I liked Insurrection's theme better, and I do like John Williams.

Okay... It's a marvelous theme, but I already expressed my opinions on it in the non-spoiler opinions thread.

The soundtrack itself... "Duel of the Fates" and the End Credit are just spectacular.

The Excalibur: You should have stayed till the end of the credits, for at the very end something happens. (Its not really that interesting and the credits are about 10 minutes long, but I found it really neat.)

The final notes of the film are the Imperial March downbeat...

Also, quite frankly, most of Insurrections music was awful. Goldsmith has really been going downhil. STV, whatever else it's faults, had a lovely score. FC was good (but he had his son helping) Insurrection was just bland.

On SW, my Fav bit of musicis still Obi-Wan's theme/Light of the Force theme. It's noble, moving. It's lovely.
