So you say there's no bad luck, but bad decisions, yet they've never took out a loan for a house they couldn't afford. Hell they don't even own a house, but live in a rented apartment which they always pay for on time. [/qb]
Time to get a new job. Like I am doing. And even if this new job goes belly up, I'm not about to blame the government for that turn of events. Years ago, I lost my job due to a combination of office politics and nepotism. My ex-girlfriend of that time left me as a result, and I ended up working minimum wage at the local Staples. Sure, I blamed everything for what happened except myself. But as the years went by and I managed to climb out of that hole, I realized one thing: I was indeed at fault for putting myself in that situation for one reason: I ignored the signs that they were out to get rid of me. Had I have known, I would have either 1) leave no evidence for them to use against me if they wanted to fire me or 2) find a new job. You know the saying "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me"? Which is why I'm looking for a new job before they can push me out of my current one. At least I'm taking control of my own destiny, and if I fail, it's nobody's fault except my own. Those people who are in trouble in these economic times are in that position because they refuse to take control of their own lives and place that control squarely on others. That's socialism for you. [/QB]
