Little did they know... :) [QUOTE]My view is that the whole NX/NCC/NAR/NFT/whataver in the Federation and Starfleet is one whole massive numbering scheme and that as a new ship is built for Federation and Starfleet purposes (as well as ships being absorbed into the fleets from newly acquired Federation members) the next available sequential number is assigned.
