Read This

The Lychee Konjac candies are my favourite treat. I have a jar of them at home, sitting in the freezer (they taste better frozen). I'd hate to see these candies banned because of this.

What say you?

Mmm...suffocating.

Well, honestly, it had to be said.

Any candy that carries a warning on it to keep away from children or the elderly is pretty creepy any way you slice it.

Geez. It's not like that 4 year old girl was the first person ever to choke on a piece of candy.

Tragic? Yes.

Are these people blowing it out proportion? Yes.

Don't they teach the Heimlich maneuver in Canada?

According to what I heard, the Heimlich manouevre didn't work as the candy was made out of jelly with the complexion of a ju-jube and totally lodged itself in the girl's throat.

Maybe someone should teach these kids that you're supposed to eat candy, not inhale it.

Perhaps we should ban money, too. Kids can choke on coins, after all...

We should certainly abolish the U.S. penny. I've got a jar full of them, and it takes forever to wrap 'em all. Then the bank teller gives me a nasty look when I turn them in. What bloody good is the damn penny, I ask. What good?

Hey Jeff. I just noticed something. Didn't you say that another deer decided to commit suicide using your jeep a couple of weeks ago? If that is the case, shouldn't your little member status thing say "avoided by dear since October of '01" or something like that?

Actually, it should be "Avoided by Deer Since 2001" since I hit my first deer in January of this year (and my second deer in November of this year).

But I got my Jeep in '99, so we'll stick with that.

No. You see. It says "Avoided by deer since 1999." Not "I've owned a jeep since 1999" When you're talking about deer, if you want to be truthful and not be a part of the mass deer genocide cover up, it should say, "Avoided by deer since last Tuesday." LOL

Jeff, this is almost an annoying as your "I'm going to be a bastard" campaign. Especially since most people found and got bored of the dialectizer over a year ago.

Now stop it, and find a good running joke, okay?

--------------------
Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

It's official.

The candies have been banned. Just saw it on the news.

I really don't know what to say other than what I feel.

Actually, I've been running the dialectizer full time at the TrekBBS ...

Sorry Tahna. For 600% markup, I'll get them here in the States and ship them to you.
