Funny.

If one replaced every instance of the words "French" and "France" by "American" and "United States" it'd be very hard to tell the difference.

Perhaps he sees it as the white man's burden for Frenchmen to take control of Tuvalu's web addresses away from the godless savages that live there.

The French are hardly the worst here. Italy has 20% extreme right support in a coolition government, and Austria is even worse.

Strangely, the two countries with the smallest extreme right support are Spain (who, having only recently gotten rid of their rather right wing leadership are still a bit gunshy) and the UK, both of whom have less than 1% support for their extremist parties.

There are two main problems. Voter apathy is causing the National Front parties to get a greater portion of the vote than they would normally (Blair said the other day that people should vote for any of the mainstream parties ahead of the BNP), and the fact that the France electoral system is a bit of a mess, where peoples support gets split amoungst too many candidates.

Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

...that said, first-past-the-post is hardly perfect either. I think the Aussies have hit upon the best scheme for filling their parliamentary seats, sadly enough.

The upcoming Irish general election ought to be an interesting litmus test. The extreme right there has traditionally gotten absolutely nothing in elections, though (similarly to the Le Pen situation) its rump of nationalist anti-European support along with the extreme left's anticapitalist anti-European supporters got rather overrepresented in the recent Nice treaty referendum because of low turnout of mainstream voters. I imagine that in the next couple of elections in Europe we might see an upswing in turnout in order to prevent the likes of a Le Pen from getting a sizeable chunk of votes.

Maybe he went to a restaurant somewhere outside of London and drank out of a glass that akb had recently drank out of.

Actually, I was overcome with a desire not to appear rude. Strange, I know.

The "hilarious" thing to do now would be to end this message with lots of smilies. Like AKB does. Because I would be mocking him and myself by doing what I never do.

Fuck you all right in the ear.

Wouldn't you need to have an awfully small penis for that to work? Like Q-tip size?
