I'm reminded of a time a couple years ago when I was editor of my high school's newspaper. Our music reviewer wanted to mention the song "Smack My Bitch Up". He had even censored it to "B****". However, the faculty advisor wouldn't let us put it in. Apparently he felt that, if a song needed to be censored, it probably shouldn't be in there to begin with (bear in mind, I'm talking about a Catholic school here...). Anyway, the funny part is that he made some passing comment about how the paper didn't "need any of this 'stroke it to the east, stroke it to the west'", or such.

Of course, it's even funnier if actually know the guy, but I think the quote stands pretty well on its own. :-)

Clairol shampoo commercials

And "Smack my Bitch Up" is not a song, it's an ideal. A very bad one but it's an aquired taste.
