24. It is a book.
25. It is not a modern book (written/published in the last 50 years).
26. It is not considered sacred by any large group of people in the religious sense of the word (as far as I know).
27. It is not My Family and Other Animals.
28. It is not The Communist Manifesto.
29. It is not an instruction book.
30. It is not a text book of some sort (assuming you mean "school book", and not just a book w/ text in it).
31. It is not a biography or autobiography.
32. Were it listed in Omega's library's catalogue (and the cataloguers were not smoking crack), it would not be listed under the Reference section.
33. It could have illustrations, or it could not.
34. It is not the "Kamu Sutra" (nor the Kama Sutra, either).
35. It would not be found in the non-fiction (excluding biographies) section of the average library.
36. Omega's library owns it or has a record for it.
37. It is not a "Where's Waldo?" book.
38. It is not seasonal.
39. There are different editions of this book.
40. It is found in the fiction section of Omega's library.
41. The last name of the author starts w/ a letter between 'A' and 'M'.
42. The native language of the book is English.
43. There is not more than one author.
44. The author is/was male.
45. The last name of the author starts w/ a letter between 'A' and 'G'.
46. The author is/was not a resident of the USA.
47. The author is/was a resident of the UK.
48. The author is/was not "Jane Austin" (nor Jane Austen, either).
49. The author is "breathing-deprived".
50. The earliest date for the book is not before 1850.
51. The book is not part of inaccurately-named trilogy.

Okay, you know it's a non-seasonal, fictional book written between 1850 and 1951 in English, whose author is dead now, but was a man who lived in the UK and had a last name beginning w/ a letter from 'A' to 'G'. Surely this narrows it down enough that you can at least start getting close to the answer?

Was it written before 1900?

Had the author published works before this book?

Had the author published works after this book?

Has the book ever been made into a film (or been used as the basis for a film)?

Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

Was the film a recipient of any Academy Awards?

Is the title of the book a singular word?
