We all know the story of the USS Bozeman and its Captain in TNG's "Cause and Effect", but after looking at a screencap today, I was wondering something else. Just who is the actress that's standing behind Captain Bateson?
Neither IMDb nor Memory Alpha have any clue as to who it is, but personally I think it's got to be Marcia Gay Harden. If it's not her, the actress is an amazing lookalike. Her own IMDb profile doesn't list it either, but the timeframe of the episode production (~1991/early 1992) would line up with her doing some TV extra work.
So, what do you guys think?

I think you're blind. It doesn't looks a damned thing like Marcia Gay Harden. It's just some random extra chick. You don't get credits if you don't speak.

Also, I notice an LCARS display of the Bozeman in the background. So much for a new design of that ship when TNG-R never happens.

Wow. That one in the front is a ringer for Billie Piper...
Or, given the age of the episode and the actress, Billie Piper is a ringer for her....

Not necessarily. I'm sure a new LCARS could be CGI inserted. Also keep in mind that the Enterprise and Reliant had other starships (lifted from FJ's Tech Manual) on video displays in TMP and TWoK.
