Well it's official. Enterprise was called NX-class (not Enterprise-class) by both Archer and Mayweather. Also that more are on the way, 3 more according to Mayweather.

I'm slightly annoyed at Hobbes' rather rude decision to be much more attractive than me though. That's just rude. - PsyLiam, Oct 27, 2005.

Um ... no, it doesn't. Those freighters weren't Starfleet.

I think he's refering to the class of ship that was 3 weeks away.

I think he was expressing dislike for the "letters-for-class-names" system. I was just pointing out the other examples we have so far.

And we don't know that ESF (Earth Starfleet) doesn't use those classes, anyway.

Heck, we know that UFP Starfleet does, in the Pike/Kirk era. At least for training duty. And assuming the class J there is the same as the class J here.

I'm personally not opposed to letter designations at all. It gives the space service a flavor of its own, separate from previous aeronautical and naval practices. And I think it's just a plus that it's also separate from the later pseudo-naval Starfleet practices.

You know, when Target Employee fixes on something, he does it good. This is probably the 10th post that mentions the "J-Class".

I think you must be the one "fixing" on things. Like you're so fixed on complaining about TE and the J class, that you accuse him of talking about it in threads he hasn't even posted to...
