I thought there was also an S.S. Oregon of some-such.

Are these all on the one cmputer display that we only have a very bad screencap of? 'Cause I don't see any place where it could possibly say "SS Oregon". I also don't see the Aries, Yorktown, or Powell, but those might be in the ones I can't read.

U.S.S. Yorktown is the first ship on the list.
U.S.G.S. Powell is a few lines later.
S.S. Oregon is two or three lines from the last ship on the list.
U.S.S. Aries is the last ship on the list.

"Whispers" [DS9] Season 2. It's the episode where O'Brien suspects a conspiracy against him, amongst everyone else on the station, and he begins plotting an escape... a GREAT episode of Star Trek.

The 'screen' that is spoken of, I can't remember where it appeared, nor can I recall ever seeing it on the web... anyone would like to post it here?

That's right. Most of the episode is him relating the events in his personal log. That was a great episode!

Wasn't there a U.S.S. Kai Winn in there as well. (Yes, I know it doesn't make much sense, but IIRC it was there.)

Here is the only screencap I've ever seen of it. I don't see how the first ship could say "USS Yorktown". In fact, it looks like the only one that might possibly the "USGS Powell". I'll admit, that last one might say "Aries", but there appear to be four letters before it, which rules out a simple "USS". The one that's sixth from the bottom looks like the only one what could possibly start w/ "SS", and there's no way that says "Oregon"...

The list is not static.
The list scrolls from top to bottom.
This screen capture captured a portion of the list, not the entire list.

Colin is correct. The image (which I captured originally) only shows some of the ships from the total scrolling list.
