So in Trek there's at least 246 elements by 2371, & Voyager found 247 that year. In fandom, there's been metion of Cochrane discovering a second periodic table, or a second level to the existing one.

However...I'm wondering if Glenn Seaborg's extended periodic table might not be in full effect by then? I would link it, but again the parenthetical HTML problem.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Periodic_table with _(extended) after for the link.

Even still, that only goes up to 218... But it is a more sensible arrangement of the elements, by the outer electron shell. Minus the pesky oddballs like copper and chromium (I think its chromium... or maybe cobalt... my inorganic chemistry is rusty).

For what it's worth, thisis my favourite layout for the periodic table.

As for the actual elements, I have a marginally useless Okudagram full of repetitions and in-jokes to work from...

Yeah, but that one's not so much a table... And does nothing to group things by common characteristics.

"I'm the 117th element: : 'sup' ('Suppish')."

I really don't have the slightest idea what you're talking about, but, if you wanted to add even a modicum of accuracy to that, "Sup" would, in fact, be the placeholder abbreviation for element 715.
