Years ago, there was an attempt at reading the transport names on the commercial transport manifests. Due to the quality then available, only one name was readable: the Manila. Is it possible now to read the names of the other two ships?

Actually, I think "Manda" is actually "Manoa," a town in Hawaii, which state Okuda hails from.

Agree that it's Manoa—not only is it a town in Okuda's home state, but he went to college there—and I would add that it was probably never Manila.
