OK, I know that they're not 'really' canon, but I like to keep track of Ships that are featured in novels and computer games because I find it interesting. Anyway, I've only recently been collecting names and info from novels, and don't have a very impressive list. Is there anyone else who keeps track of these? If so, would you mind sharing your names with me so I can flesh out my own lists? Thanks.

Yay! Another Transformers fan! Welcome to the forums.

I'll leave your questions to the game-players and novel-readers, as I am not among them.

Ohmigawsh... a chance to actually make myself USEFUL!!

Yes, I keep track of ships in books (at least, in the TOS, TNG and DS9 Pocket Books published by Simon & Schuster), as well as the new Role-Playing game. I have nearly all the Pocket Books Trek novels ever written, and I buy them as soon as they come out. (I often, but not always, wait for hardbacks to arrive in paperback)

So, what do you need, Fed ships? Alien ships? Privately-owned ships? TOS ers or TNG-DS9 era?

*cackles with mad glee*

Here's an example: My page #1 of TNG-era Federation ships, with classes and registries, if known. (deleted the canonical ones from this list)

0 = from a LUG role-playing game
F = from the fact files
(nothing) = from a book

Ad Astra
Admiral Stanley
Aizawa -- Cruiser
Akira -- Akira Class -- NCC-62497 -- F
Albedo -- Tug
Aldrin
Andover -- Miranda -- 0
Anduril
Antares
Antietam -- Constellation Class -- 0
Antietam -- Nebula Class -- NCC-11372
Apollo -- Apollo Class -- NCC-6570
Arcturus -- Rigel Class -- 0
Argent Wing
Arian -- Norway Class -- 0
Aurora -- Ambassador Class
Barnard -- Rigel Class -- 0
Belfast
Bennett -- Fernandes Class Escort
Beowulf -- 0
Black Elk -- Akira -- 0
Bolivar -- Galaxy Class
Bosewell
Bozeman II -- Destroyer -- NCC-1941-A
Brande
Breedlove -- Galaxy Class

Unfortunately, I never bothered to write down the book source for each ship. Oh, well, we can't have everything.

The Bozeman II comes from the novel, ST: TNG Ship of the Line.

Hey thanks. Well, any and all would be cool, if it's not a problem, so I could get a jump on the aliens as well.

And Frank G: Transformers rule, although I'd never say that in public, because I'm 16, and it's not socially acceptable

I always thought Magnus was a wimp for not facing up to Galvy in that early 90's annual.

At least the newboy has enough sense not to mention Transformers. Ha! Kids and their insecure fear of social neglect.

Anyway, welcome to the Flare Forums, Magnus P.I. -- You'll find us a friendy lot.
Until we turn on you for some obscure thing or other. Which you wouldn't know about.
Until it was too late.
Enjoy.

Don't know a thing about non-canon ships, BTW.
Don't want to know a thing about non-canon ships.

UM: There are plenty of Transformers fans here, though. Take a look at some of the past threads in General Sci-Fi Discussion.

I've learned far more then I ever wanted to know about Transformers, here at Flare.

Welcome abord UM, oyu'll fit right in, at least with Shadow and the Transformer lot. You wont be ridiculed for talking about them here, at least, not often.

Well here is another ship.

The Stealth Defiant Class from The Return!
It has concealed weapons no warp signature etc, also cloaks and has black stealth hull!

Speaking about Transformers, any good sites out there?

There's a lovely biig Klingon battleship in "Starfleet Academy", the computer game. The Berr'ta IIRC. Kinda like K'tinga meets D'Deridex.

My favorite new ship from the games/novels so far is that massive Klingon cruiser from Starfleet Academy, but Star Trek: Armada is gonna have some pretty awesome new ships. Specificly the new 29th century ship (the main one).

I've got all of the ships from most of the games, like Starfleet Academy and Starfleet Command, but most of the novels I don't have, so if someone could help me out there, I'd be thankful.
