While I imagine more of the hype has to do with the fanciest shots ever attempted with digital split screen, I imagine we're up for a treat outside as well.

Should be interesting to see, at any rate. Sort of makes me wonder how the Soong/Lore/Data stuff would be handled if TNG was in production now.

That Lore/Data/Soong stuff was beautiful though - what about "Brothers" with Soong touching Data... and the dream sequence in "Birthright Part 1"
