This morning I checked Pedro's site and I came across the following image (I think from "Favor the Bold"):

http://www.uni-siegen.de/~ihe/bs/startrek/temp/fleet24.jpg

The topmost ship, isn't that a long missing class? What do you think?

*squints*

Surely not. . . we couldn't have missed that, could we?

Let's see:

- Saucer appears quite small compared to body, or nacelles look larger
- That sure looks like a round deflector
- Nacelles are higher up, at the level of the saucer. . .

I'd SO love to belive it is, but I can't believe no-one spotted it until now!

Ack! It really does look like an **********! I will check the epsiode later. The thing is, I think it was the port nacelle that was damaged...if they've fixed the model, they would certainly use it more. Or, they could've made a CGI version, which again would mean they would have used it more since then. Unless they haven't detailed it well yet...

Perhaps I'm missing something...but it's different than the one on Pedro's site

http://www.shiporama.org/images/fleet/fleet24.jpg

It doesn't really match the other ships anyway :P

I should have known people in the forum would investigate the image and conceive theories. The fake could have been better, though.

I knew the image, and the lighting is incorrect, and the grey is too warm. So I wasn't fooled. Well, for one second maybe.

It did look like it was cut-and-pasted. Different lighting.
