Here's an mpeg so you can watch while it downloads (beware, it's a bit large).

...

Very very nice.. how long did that take?

Minor criticism: sometimes the ships turn a little sharp, but hell, why am I complaining? :P

thanx.
Each sequence is taken from a longer one.
the move has been assembled in Adobe Premiere.
it took me say a week to do all the stuff.
today i just found how to do that great phaser FX.
Not counting the time Pedro, Me & Cooper spent on doing the models of course.
But this is just an example, kinda like a compilation coz we haven't yet worked on stories and stuff.
To answer your question precisely, rendering a movie that is 30 seconds long with say 4 or 5 ships in the same scene can take 8 or 9 hours on my p333 with 192 megs of RAM.

Once again you've amazed and delighted us all. I am a frequent lurker in your Sci Fi Art Forums, and am consistantly impressed with the quality of work on display there.

Or in other words... Tres manifique, monsieur!
