BS's is cooler, althoguh I think the phasrer on the bottom shoudl be smaller or gone.

it serves no purpose to make an identical ship to the real ones anyway.since our ship seems to be flawed as long as your diagrams.anyway, say a perfect ship is made, then what..

Except for a few details (windows and pod sizes) the 3D model is correct, not only because it's very close to my suggestion:

I see no other possibility for the neck, given the top and bottom views. Sol: Note that the neck is already shortened compared to the Galaxy class. Nevertheless, I agree the neckless version looks better.
