Thanks for all the help, guys! I have posted two more ships (thanks for the tip Hobbes!) and now all the images are JPEGs. The page has also had a make-over - come see it here. Unfortunately Crosswinds won't let me link the images... *sigh*
More coming soon!

Nice work, but your McHale class has the pod pointing right at the saucer. If it has torps like the other pods, then that could be a little troublesome. Even sensors would have a lot of interference if they were mounted on the edge. Just some thoughts. But nice work.

I suspect that the pod on the McHale class is actually a sensors pod, seeng that it is an intelligence frigate.

Of course, since you've done the McHale, you need to do a Binghampton class (or did you ever see the series? )

Fabrux: Of course I linked to you - I'm using your shipkit!

Baloo: Um... series? I got the name "McHale" from the Tom Arnold movie McHale's Navy. I'm guessing now that, like Steve Martin's Sergeant Bilko, it's a remake of a classic?

The pod on the McHale is primarily for sensors, and is mounted low to give the ship a small sensor profile. However, it is shaped like the Nebula's pod, and can launch probes at an angle.
Since it is lightly armed the ship is usually escorted if it would be in danger of encountering enemy vessels.

More ships coming soon... I hope to put together a write-up for each ship, much like Baloo does.
I also intend to e-mail Laz1701 and see if he minds me downloading a big cluster of his ships to use as components - I gather that's where you got your parts from, Fabrux?

Yeah, that's where I got my parts from. I made the mistake of not crediting Laz when I first got them, though

Did I hear that right? You can't link images from Crosswinds? ARGH! I knew there was some drawback.
