Anyone else watch this?

I'm only about a half hour in, and I'm appalled at how terrible this is.

I vaguely remember another attempt by Sci-Fi to adapt this book some years back. This one seams somewhat better, but not much. Mind you I've never read the book(s?) and can't say that either adaptations have given me an interest in doing so.

Never read the books either, so I can't compare.

I found the first half okay. Nothing to write home about, but decent. The second half completely fell apart, though.

That's interesting. Yeah, I can't tell. I read several of the books and fear I am too close tot he subject matter. (To Your Scattered Bodies Go is GREAT, btw, though not so much in the space-ship department, so go in knowing that)
