Liam, say what you will about Iced Tea- drinking hot anything in Florida's weather is just stupid. [Wink]

Speaking of old TV movies ...

This one was on in the mid-80's. I don't really know what it was about, except that I think it was a guy who used to be a superhero who dressed up as a hawk or a falcon. There was a cute brunette on his case. I remember a scene set at a ski resort, with someone running around a room filled with gears and pulleys, and an aerial shot of two speed boats racing around some cliffs (one or both of them exploding).

Anyone know this?

"Condorman", maybe?
Though I watched it at a theatre... early 80's, maybe.

The guy was a comics writer who insisted on trying all his gadgets himself before including them in his stories, and had a friend who was an archivist for the CIA and was asked by his boss to get a civilian to deliver some documents to a Russian civilian (similarly picked by the KGB) in Istambul. Only that he tries to impress the Russian (who actually turns out to be a KGB operative) by pretending to be a CIA operative, and he does it too well...

I think I taped it when it was on cable some years ago... maybe I'll locate the tape and make a couple of screengrabs from it.

They should do a "The Greatest American Hero" remix, with Blonde Perm-Guy In Dress fighting drug dealers in Philadelphia.
I've worked it out and this way the entertainment industry would finally come full circle and then this slimy universe will implode and start over.

It's the hair that made it all come together.

Picard: Mr. Crusher, what's our maximum speed this week?
Wesley: [checking manual] Uh, 9.4, sir.
Picard: Very good. Take us to Warp 9.8 then.
Wesley: Aye, sir. Warp 9.2 it is.

Not how his shirt-bottom becomes a sort of skirt thingie?

Or the fact that you could just shoot him in the face?

How does one live with oneself after having been on a program such as this?

I'll see what I can do about recreating the alien logo in Illustrator. Are those eyes at the top of it?

Last I heard he frequently checks his IMDb page and is hoping for a House V.

How's this?

 -

Believe it or not, I'm usin' Photoshop.
I never thought I could waste so much time.
Drawing away, with my mouse and my pad.
Who could it be?
Believe it or not it's just me.

Looks alright, but there's actually 5 widgets up there, not two "eyes". Here's a decent picture that shows the logo.

I like the eyes better.

Thanks Aban! I may make me a shirt this weekend.

Hmmmm...mabye just a small symbol on the upper right of a grey hoodie (though it's not cold enough for that here).

Definitely gonna be a sticker for my car- next to my Green Lantern and BPRD symbols.
