A very interesting site indeed.

He was unable to guess the first object, a joystick, but he was able to guess the second, a chequebook.

He friggin' guessed flamingo! With help from the Burger King, though.

He also guessed persimmon, that was after 30+ questions though.

Got it with Tasmanian Tiger/Thylacine! Well Vader shut the game down and the computer asked me to choose from a list of items and press 'post'.

Son of a bitch... he guessed beer in 19 questions. What the fuck.

Then a giant chicken came out and Boba Fett shot it or something.

But he couldn't guess porn.

I'm slightly annoyed at Hobbes' rather rude decision to be much more attractive than me though. That's just rude. - PsyLiam, Oct 27, 2005.

He got headphones, mind, three-ring binder, and grass. "Can you use it with your friends?" "Depends."

I beat it with Darth Vader and emu though.

"I beat it with Darth Vader..."

He does say not to pick specific items. Which is what stopped me from trying "Death Star". Of course, when he gave up on "Star Destroyer" and wanted me to pick from a list, that was one of the choices. What the hell.

This is way creepy. He guessed, coffee mug, action figure, lightsaber, television, knife. Dude, how does he do that!

I was actually going for "Sith Lord". Vader himself was one of the final options, though. It's apparently adaptive, it got "emu" the second time around. He couldn't get "caffeine", "graviton", or "The Force", though I suppose all gravitons are interchangable, and there's only one Force. "Death Star" isn't necessarily a specific object, either, there were several.

Freakin' insane! It didn't get my first pick (newspaper) but when I went for a bicycle, it started asking questions that leaned toward newspaper, and it guessed it! It also got kangaroo.

Well, he didn't get "water", but he did ask "Can you walk on it?". I said "depends".

He got "hydrofluoric acid" with twenty when I started with "mineral", and within thirty when I started with "other" or "animal". There's some robustness for ignoring deliberate or accidental falsehoods, it seems, at least in the early stages.

With "mineral", he actually tried "sulphuric acid" after fifteen, then got sidetracked for a while, but his next acid was the correct one. So there's a lot of detail and finesse to this thing, too... And the recovery from the sidetracking in such a short time was impressive as well. OTOH, not being all that sympathetic to the Jedi cause, I saw no reason to mislead him with "dependses" and other vague responses.

I guess, though, that at some point one succumbs to pity and accepts a fairly generic suggestion as the correct answer, knowing that turning that answer down just for vagueness would just prolong the Sith Lord's interrogation task for dozens of questions more.
