She was born in '56 and Star Wars was filmed in '77 so I'd say about 20-21 years old.

Maybe she did the nasty with him during the filming of the Star Wars Holiday special,when she was supposedly high. George Lucas even refuses to admit that that was ever made, he is so embarrassed about it.

Considering the US had effectively pulled out of Vietnam in 1973, I don't think that was a problem, not to mention the fact that the draft was discontinued that year as well.
